Dhaani

by Strings

With the launch of their fourth album Dhaani, Strings have proved their metal in the world of pop music. Dhaani, the first song of the album is a blend of Faisal's groovy voice and Bilal Maqsood's guitars. Next in line is "Najany Kyon". It's a soft number, which is definitely going to give you the signature sound of Strings. "Kahany Mohabat ki" and "Mera Bichara Howa Yaar" are no doubt my favourite songs. I have already heard them more than a hundred times. The best thing about these songs is that they aren't exactly slow but they both give you the same soothing feeling. "Sohniye", a very unique and extremely jumpy number, is a treat to listen to. "Bolo Bolo" features Hari Haren and 'Paal' featuring Sagarika has excellent background music and lyrics. "Chaaye Chaaye" is the liveliest . The video of this song is pretty baffling. "Mitti" is an average song, with nothing extraordinary to offer. HKHJ is a new version of the World Cup song that we all have heard.

Bilal Maqsood composes all the songs and the lyrics are penned by Bilal's father Anwer Maqsood Dhaani, is the only song written by Zehra Nigah.

In a nutshell, this album can be regarded as another creative success of Strings.
