Zinda music to create history
Sanjay
Gupta's Zinda is to create
history with the simultaneous
music release of the film's album
in India and Pakistan. It is going
to happen for the very first time
in both countries' history and the
credit goes to the music bigwig of
India T-Series and the mammoth
Pakistani satellite channel 'Geo'
(Geo Group) for this effort.
Sanjay Gupta, the
producer-director of Zinda,
is the first Bollywood man who has
achieved this milestone to make
Hindi cinema's presence happen
legally in Pakistan - the land
where Bollywood movies and music
are simply loved to be with and
the Hindi film stars are adored
hugely.
Gupta's forthcoming outing
Zinda's music would be
released both in India and
Pakistan simultaneously on 10th
January jointly by T-Series and
Geo Group. The music band Strings,
who has composed and sung the
title track of the movie, has been
instrumental in making this
initiative possible. The
simultaneous release across both
countries will be a step towards
combating piracy issues and this
will certainly bring a huge smile
on the faces of Hindi music buffs.
"I think it's a great
accomplishment with the
simultaneous release of my film's
music in Pakistan and India as it
means taking a step forward in
trying to bridge distance between
our industries". He further added,
"I do hope that this step would
further pave way for other films
as well, as this will definitely
be a blow to piracy", Sanjay Gupta
comments on this historic step.
